Affirmations

It’s important to speak life into your marriage.  Those things that are not showing up, yet; it’s a step in the right direction. Having a positive outlook on yourself and what you expect life to bring. Use these affirmations to get you started or make your own. Take one or two at a time and speak them daily so you can hear them and receive them in your spirit. Place them on your smart phone, around the house or wherever you feel you may need them.  Affirmations are not to shame your spouse but build you up.

  • My marriage is built on the Word of God. It is stable and it is strong. Colossians 2:7

  • Due to the trials and tribulations in my marriage, I seek the Lord for comfort & peace. John 14:16

  • I seek the Lord daily concerning my marriage. Joshua 1:8

  • I’m okay that my husband is my head.  It’s a Devine purpose. Eph 5:23

  • God gave me a wonderful helpmeet. I’m blessed because of it. Genesis 2:18

  • I have a great marriage – I love and like my spouse for who God made them, wonderfully. Psalms 139:14

  • I speak to my spouse with love, gentleness and meekness. Galatians 5:22-23 

  • I am content in what God has given me. Phil 4:11

  • I show up better and stronger in my marriage because I seek God first. Matthew 6:33

  • Because God joined us together, I’m not going anywhere. We are good together as one. Matthew 19:6

  • The joy of the Lord is my strength to endure all things in my marriage. Nehemiah 8:10
